          Also with being that old isn't there a chance of the head gaskets going on it like with the 2nd gens.Only a thought as its the early 3rd gen and the 2nd gens had the head gasket problem

                It's a petrol one Rich - the engines are capable of over 1000bhp. I know it will be heavily modded to get that, but I doubt the head is a weak point. Also, petrol engines run cooler and with less compression - so kinder to head in that respect also. Admit it, you wish you'd bought a 2.7...

                  the heads were ok it was the gaskets that blew on them.Well on the 2nd gens anyway and i think there were 2 of them unless it was 2 on the v6 ones and one on the standard petrol

                    It was the V6 that had gasket issues - in the Supra too.

                        Gaskets a bit nicer to replace than a head.
