    Someone's tried to nick my truck (parts needed)

    Got back from 4 days in Welwyn last night to find some one has had a go at nicking the Surf. Smashed the drivers side rear door quarterlight, ripped off the steering column cowling and the lower drivers side interior panel (where the bonnet and filler releases are. Gouged around the ignition but didn't get away with it.

    Stormforce: - Don't suppose you have any of these for a 2nd Gen 3ltr?

    They left the Merc alone which probably says something about the weather up here in Halifax!

    I have some ignition barrels with keys if you want one and the lower dash panels and the rear 1/4 windows
    £60 all in delivered.It will have to be mid week though before i can sort them as i have alot of stuff at home to sort aswell

            Seems that the snow has brought the scrotes out one of my work colleges had his stolen almost as soon as the snow got deep. Glad to here they did not get away with yours.

              Well I had to laugh really. They were too incompetent to steal her, which was nice, then they left all the bits they'd ragged off in a neat pile in the passenger footwell. I mentioned this to a police friend of mine who said it sounds like crack addicts. Apparently when they get high they get obsessive! Either that or they were brung up proper. Hey ho.
              Looking philosophical about it. Someoone nicked my mountain bike 3 weeks ago, that cost £700 to replace, insurance won't pay up because it was sotred in a mates garage. So Stormforces ask of £60 for all the bits is a bargain.

                I'd get the police to get fingerprints!! I've just had some good news with a crime that was done some months ago. Still, it's an inconvenience to put it lightly but could have been worse.
                People that do this are just plain scum and there is no need for it.
