no ill keep the old oil in the engine ,after all its been there for about 5 years

Sometimes; particularly if it's been on my clothing, or skin.

I'm sorry I didn't explain myself ,
what you need to do is get the engine nice and warm run it for a good twenty minutes or so preferably at 50+mph in a 30 mph zone see how fast you can drive around at a roundabout with the police watching,drive erraticly around a school zone perhaps after having 4 or 5 strong lagers .drive back home jack it up using the factory supplied jack even better if you live on a hill don't bother with the handbrake. get your mates to rev up the engine lift the bonnet make sure the rad is nice and hot and take of the pressure cap, make sure the air con is switched on after you have done that take a hacksaw or a set of large bolt croppers and cut through the refrigerant lines at the compressor make sure you dont wear gloves or goggles and makes sure that you are foucusing on what you are doing get you face right down there so you can feel the wind off the engine fan, don't worry about the high pressure boiling liquid that has now squirted all over your hands and face or even your eyes,cold burns are fine.

or get the refrigerant reclaimed.
