  • B0ll0cks!!!

That explains the odd handling in 4wd on the plains last week, and in the snow today.

I seem to have ended up with 4:10 gears in the back, and 4:56 in the front.

    Bugger.

So I either need a 4:56 rear or 4:10 front, very quick!! lol

its a long story, in the summer I had a truck here with a broken diff, so in the interests of a happy customer I sold my diff out the truck to him, and he left happy.

Then I got another diff later when the pressure was off, and obviously asked for or got supplied the wrong one.

I have no idea what I asked for now, its was months ago. It was probably my fault. But its annoying cos i was looking forward to lots of playing in the snow, but it leaps around and is very hard to keep in a straight line on any slighly firm surface. So had to drive home in 2wd.

Need to go and have root through the shed, i have lots of rear diffs, but only one front, and that a 4:56, so will be doubly pee'd off if i bought what I already had! and isn't what I need.

      lol

LOL I dunno, it was Don Logan truck I think.

Rich let me check, if I have a 4:56 rear I'll be ok. Backs are easier to change anyway.

I've just MOT'ed Biosurfs truck, I can use that once I've fixed his knackered prop..

Nearly as funny as the fluorescent pit light full of ATF - not quite but nearly.
