I wonder why nobody has suggested you use the attachments button? (The one of a paperclip)
Providing your pics are below the size limit, this is by far the easiest way.
Displayed as thumbnails in a post, all we do then is click on them for a larger display. You don't need to sign up to anything, it's all done on this site only. Simple.
