I gave £3600 for it, but its in excellent nick.
I thought about keeping the old one and running it alongside, but the insurance is nearly 800 quid; so it looks like Its going.

When you say £800.00 is that for your new surf?cause that is expensive for insurance.Like anything nowadays it pays to shop around.
