can i facelift an ld ln130

hi all.
my surf is a 1990 with the older style (crappy) front lights and bump in side light indicators but my local scrappy has a later one in with the better headlights and smoothed off side light indicators. they only want $60 for the lot, including grill.

so can i just remove old rubbish lights and replace with new ones?

Hi Will. The indicators are a different shape, so you'd need the front wings too. Dunno about the rest.

There's crystal clear headlamps available for the pre-facelift 2nd gen you know.

this is what i done to my last surf,it was with mk3 hilux grill and side lights and crystal headlights, i modded the side lights to have the indicators in them and used orange bulbs

You really need to fit a new front panel as the later headlamps wont fit the earlier one . Some other differences aswell . It has been done though .

ive done the headlights but not the indicators yet, still a bit to do!


had to cut out small portion of panel and drill new fixing points but not to hard.
