I also changed my order to include 15mm plasma rope and cables to mount the solenoids remotely. They made my order up same day, hand wound the rope, asked what vehicle it was for and how I intended mounting it. They were attentive and helpfull. I didn't feel they were just after a sale. Can't comment on the other guys, as I've not dealt. Good feed back too though.

Wow you ain't gonna recover a surf from much with THAT!

              1300lb....
              Nissan Patrol for on-road, and a Land-Rover 110 shed for off-road :-)

Fair call! I should have typed 13,000lb. Last time I used it in anger (last month) was to remove a row of tree stumps that the back hoe on a JCB failed on. I did double the pull via a snatch block though. Stumps made a nice popping sound as the 4-6" roots parted. Surf sat on "idle-up", tied to an Amazon. Winch never laboured - didn't even slow down noticeably from no load speed. I would like a Warn/insert named brand here, but this works fine and is well provided for with spares (same parts as Warn/insert named brand here)!

I'll loo after it. Time will tell whether it'll reciprocate ()
