Uber cheap weather station, in/out temp / air pressure trends / time / moon phase etc...
When there is a dramatic change in air pressure it alarms..

My meteor alarm is going off too, and the Large Hadron Collider black hole detector!!! We're doomed I tells ya!!!

Seriously though, my weather station (Waters and Stanton jobbie mounted on a mast on the garage) is indicating pretty rapid fall in pressure over the last 4 hours, only 1.6mph variable generally Southerly and 4.2 degrees C (but not a big drop since sundown) and predicting heavy rain.

I dont think the end of the world is coming, but you might need your brollies tomorrow.

<edit> Just looked at met office. No severe weather warnings for midlands (probably why my weather station's not doing anything particularly wild) but the rest of you out west are in for it!

Wonderful. Driving in to the eye of the storm tomorrow to pick up a trailer from South Wales...
Oh well, the surf can cope....probably!
