I'd suggest re-writing the above into english
before touching any AC then you must get it de-gassed properly (which will cost)
as to saving on MPG - if you dont use it, then I can hardly see it making enough difference to warrant the costs of degassing it properly

its not just a case of taking it off job done
you need new belt that will fit with out the ac pump being there
its all ran on the same belt
like whats been said dont use it then it wont make no efect on your mpg
i dont use mine too
to take it off is not a big job but from what i understand its a few hours job that needs planning
search about dude there others that have all ready done thisam not die lex sick its you that cant read mate

Hey, hang on, my 2nd gen ran for ages without an aircon belt. Made no difference whatsovere - apart from the amount of sweat now in the front seats...Cutting steps in the roof of the world

Due to other factors, honest.
Maybe you wore extra light trainers, or the wind was behind you. I drove about 2500 miles through France and Spain with a roofrack full of shite and a truck full of camping gear, and noticed barely any difference in mpg from a clean truck.Cutting steps in the roof of the world

But it will cost you on the way out to that old quarry where you bury them.
Best to pull early.
Trouble is, fat birds always want the A/C on.
