before i throw all my toys out of the pram..

Sorry guys - but yes another window question!!

stripped out the rear, ecu/relay thingymebobs seems to be doing its job - it'll click when key turned etc

window sometime moves a teenie weenie bit on its own, stnding at the back of the truck, I used my hands and helped it get going, window then slid down..

So i can at least now open the rear - which is helping..

with the tailgate open, put key in lock, turn and i get a beeping noise (obvious warning etc - so i'm guessing that tells me that the control box is ok.

Tried putting power to the motor cables (they seem to be split in a couple of places) - this does nothing, motor doesnt move at all..

so I'm guessing - well almost certain that its the motor thats knackered...

but why did it go down when i helped it!!

    any ideas??

    thanks in advance

    steve

Are the tailgate latches locked down? Theyre on the side of the tailgate.
Required when opening window with tailgate down. Ensure you unlock with key before closing

      few more trie

if i close the hatch gently, then try to close with key - nothing

if i slam shut, then up it goes

but wont come down on its own - if i give it a nudge - down it comes..

so it'll go up n down - but feel very laboured!!

so guessing now, ECU ok, motor is a little sticky - but could be a short somewhere!!

I used to use SILICON Type oil in the Tracks, Made things alot easier for the Glass to go down.

          thats worth a try
I've got some motorbike chain oil which is a great lube as water doesnt effect it
will coat loads of it on there and see if it helps!!

blasted pressurised air through them as well
