Like I said in other thread, FB is what you make it, if you have nightmare mates, it'll be a nightmare, if you mates and family are cool its a great way of knowing friends are doing stuff without making time for a phone call.

There are some great games on there, its a good way of getting updates on people, interests and places that you find interesting without having to go and hunt them out.

I have never had a row with anyone on FB, just avoid the toxic people, if they cause $hit on FB, they are the same people causing $hit in real life, its no different.

Sure there will be worthless crap on there, but why do people have so much trouble ignoring things or people they don't like, prefering to rant about it, and draw even more attention to it, and getting more wound up about it???

just dotn add anyone as a friend unless you know them, or if they do annoy you, 2 clicks and they are gone.. simples..

yeah i'm on all of 'em. Need them for my music. The power of FB is outstanding. I announce a new song/album/gig on there and people are instantly on the other end of it.

I'm not sure that spending time on Facebook is much different from spending time on a board like this to be honest. Some people post all the time. Some people pop in occasionally to see what's up. Some people just come looking for very specific things. Each to his own I say.
Personally I like it for wot Tony said. I am not one of the many obsessive status updaters (and they are tedious but get ignored), but like checking out what friends of mine are up to, and seeing any good photos/vids they've put up, especially since some of them are on the other side of the world.
I don't much like talking on the phone, and don't ring up friends just for a chat. But often I see something a mate has posted and then we'll arrange to go for a beer. Which is all good.

one has been meaning to pass on some lexurf wisdom. I can HIGHLY reccomend purchasing new consumables for your new machine...leads, plugs,coils, caps, rotor arms etc. It's much easier to do when the engine is out and will almost certainly save you the hiccups I encountered. And then we can go out and terrorise sone pensioners.

I appear to be missing the turbo andy...which matters not, the eaton m90 will fit quite nicely, with a bit of plumbing and some wider pulleys.

AND...the exhaust noise supplied by the v8 is so much better than a durmp valve.

Get one of those turbine thingys. One of those ones invented by 'an aerospace engineer' who worked for 'an F1 team' - they work the same way as a jet engine you know.

Then you can fit a dump valve too! While you're at it, fit a 'resistor chip' for better mpg AND a 20% increase in power.

It's all gravy!
