  • UJ fitment

Hi Guys, anyone know what the rear uj from a 94 3.0 fits as well as a Surf please.
Our local parts shop doesn't list Surf, hilux or Forunner so cannot give me the correct uj. It's more than likely the uj fits another make of car as well but does anyone know which?

Or the sizes would do I suppose, any tech bods on?

    Cheers

Every parts shop knows what a Hilux is, there's plenty of pick-ups in this country. Get them to check their books again.

    Do they speak good English?

Yep, exactly what I thought. Must be the supplier they use that doesn't list it as such, they may however list it under a different model / make?

According to this eBay ad (make of it what you will) the UJ is the same as one for a Landcruiser.

Can't get one for any Toyota 4x4 round here. They do all list as the same part, well the ones I could find. There's Toyota's everywhere in this area but no-one sells the bits, land Rover stuff yes, but not Toyota.

That's cause selling toyota spares wouldn't make as much as selling landy spares......supply/demand/stock turnover sort of thingy....

You can't be far from these folks...

EDIT: they seem to have "part numbers" (including for the UJ) so you could try your local Toyota main stealer?

Good site that, got part numbers thanks. It's quite a way from me, well the other side of Brum and almost in Stratford, (it would be a dickens of a job getting there before they shut )
