Hi guys, ive been a surf lover for a few years now. They are a great vechile on and off road and alouth mine causes me head aches at times i cant seem to give them up.
I had 4 surfs now from the 3.0l petol manual to the 2.4 diesel and now i have the 3.0l diesel ssr-g 94", all 2nd gens.
Over the years ive had all the useual problems such as head problems (and i mean the surf), starter motor and alternator, steering probs, and at the moment brake shudder. Oh and musnt forget the famous tailgate window regulator and motor.
I have fixed most of the problems myself so id be happy to pass on any knowledge that i can.

    happy surfing

                      help

                      hey

iv had my fuel pump replaced and everything seems fine.
thing is the enging warning light comes on around idle, then off just as you rev.noticed it kinda comes on when oil pressure guage drops into first bracket.

is it ok for the oil pressure guage to sit halfway along first bracket on idle?

any help with engine warnin' light probs would be sweet too.

                      cheers

Start with the simple stuff - how many miles has the oil done ?

If you don't know then drain and flush the system and replace the oil and filter.

                        Then see how things are
