Hi everyone! I used to have a 4runner in the states, great vehicle. Anyway, I'm now in Japan and looking at Hilux Surf's to buy. Have a few questions. For the 2000-2001 years, were optitron gauges available? Some of the pictures I've looked at have really dark gauges, and I'm wondering if thats what they are. 4Runner's in the states never had this option. Which models are they available on and does anyone have any pictures of them off and on?
Also, which models have the overhead compass display? Can that easily be retrofitted after the fact, and if so, where is a good place I can buy one at.
Here are a few pictures of what I am talking about. The last pictures shows some weird bumper, is this stock? Which model is it and what other features does it have?
