Try The Wayfarer in the summer when the Gorse it at maximum.
You end up with a car that looks like you wash it with a brillo pad!
Hands up those who remember that trail in South East Wales that 4Runner Pete took us down - mid summer 2009 I think? Hadn't been driven for so long that there was no visible track, just a wall of vegetation about 100 yards deep that we plunged through. Thats where Boyo lost a wheel arch from the gin palace and did his famous "my engine is dying!!!" then found a leaf covering his snorkel mouth
Ross, you were there weren't you?Cutting steps in the roof of the world

What you won't get is the feeling of putting your surf on 3 wheels at a very accute sideways angle or a rediculously steep rock hill, testing every part of you and your vehicle's abilities.... Deffo recommend these days out if you bought your truck to off road!
Oh and the sound of wood against metal....ouch!
I've got some batttle scars, but, now i've got an off roader, not a chelsea tractor.....
