2nd gen front grill removal

as title really i've looked at the retaining clips but before i go getting all up close and personal with the truck i want to know if theres an easy way without breaking the clips as i need to measure up for the oil cooler mounts and could well do without getting brutal trying to remove the clips

watch this space lol....i'm going to have a look shortly at trying to get it off without breaking clips as it's almost inevitable they will break judging by everyone else's experience of them
