I got the truck home last night and i must say it drove better than i thought it was going to.For a 2.4 manual it went very well.I will be getting the bumper taken off soon so whoever it was interested in it i'll post up pics.
I will probably sell the truck on as it still has some mot and a bit of tax but it will make a great off roader for someone.
There is a couple of people interested in it but if they don't want it i will put an ad in the for sale section

Definitely keen for the bumper. Just let me know how much you want and how to pay. As for twisting the wife's arm, well what she doesn't know about until it's too late won't hurt her...

I will try to get it off and pics done at the weekend for you.I may give it a sand down and paint aswell just to tidy it up a little as some paint has flaked off

Does this one have the 2" bodylift bumper/rad brackets up for grabs? I remember you telling me you might have some but was on a truck someone was using???

Its a pre facelift model with 2" body lift and a tubular front winch bumper with a Toyota winch fitted.I am keeping the winch for myself to fit on the trailer but the black bumper is going to be up for grabs as well as anything else on the truck.The engine is a complete runner apart from p/steering fluid leak.I will post up another parts for sale thread when i get the truck home later this week.I have now 4 towbars for sale aswell 1 is provisionally sold but 3 left up for grabs at £60 delivered

do you have a tow bar for a gen 3 surf in your stash?

The truck thats being used has the 2" bodylift.I will need to check the rad brackets but i don't think there are any bumper brackets.The bumper brackets are easy enough to make though

Maybe you can tell me, are the rad brackets to keep the rad where it is when the body is lifted and do the bumper brackets lift the bumper to match the bodylift?

Did anything ever come of this bumper? Have you still got it, or did some lightfingered weasel manage to sneak it out from under me ? If so, do you have any other tubular bumpers, or know where I could find one?

I still have truck with the bumper on but the truck has been loaned out at the moment.I should be having it back at the end of the month
