I picked up my BJ spacers today! and they dont match the BJ!

The large hole which the ball of the BJ sits in is about 4mm out - the parts are made up exacty to the plan which means either the plan is wrong or the BJ is wrong (i.e if i got one from roughtrax would it be in a slightly different place?)
All It means is grinding one side off the large hole a bit - just on the one which sit next to the BJ, the others will be fine. Bugger!

i got some ball joint spacers too, and i had to gring the one thats sits against the ball joint in order to make it fit. and as i had 5 x 10mm spacers they did not sit flush with each other, instead they stepped as they were put in. but was ok in the end and i let them settle for a month then welded the spacers together so they now come off as a unit. i didnt extend my brake lines because there wasn't enough flex, i bought new stronger steel braided one to increase the brake efficiency a bit. feels better though

I've nearly got all the parts for my suspension lift!

Just waiting on the extended brake lines and shock absorbers to turn up - I've had the BJ spacers laser cut to a plan I found on here a while back - Out of 10mm mild steel (x 5 per side) reasonble price - £70 cash, if anybody wants some let me know postage would be a tenner or so.
Also got the body lift to do - now where did dieselboys wheels go?

He's not selling them.
He knows someone who can make them for that price

And then he's going to sell them for £70 plus a tenner postage. Profit or not it's still an item for sale. No doubt he offered them in good faith but he's still selling something.

Not looking for a flame war here, just making a point that I still perceive the BJ spacers as an item for sale.

That sounds ok for an off road only vehicle but for a road going vehicle I doubt the insurance company would be happy if an accident occured. Did you get them made yourself ?

I understand what your saying however it's a bit of a bummer paying for advertising when his not making any profit, it's costing him money to help others.....ouch!

Perhaps sell them for a little more to cover the ad cost, that way the forum gets a little money from it.
