Well, I tried the fuel advance mod egr mod and the turbo mod, an now my truck is a _little_ quicker, a lot better on pick-up but not exactly what you might call blistering performance; worth it? well yeah I think so being able to pull out at round abouts etc safely is worth it, and entering motorway traffic on slip roads without cacking it is worth it hehe.

But unless I stick a V8 in my truck it'll _never_ be quick; but then I didn't buy a 2.5 tonne truck for speed.

It's an extreamly pleasent vehical to drive, it off-roads very very well and doesn't break when using it that way.

Wanna try a 2.8 non turbo, You need to keep the fuel low, know where the hills are an get a good run up ( at least 200 yards) an never ever drop below 2k revs as you go nowhere fast

That's where I mostly offroad, my house backs onto Fruska Gora. Was you here for the 'Exit' Festival?

No, I go there a lot with the wife as thats where she is from, well not exactly Fruska Gora but Eastern Slavonia, we have friends in Ruma, and she has family in Sid, and about 4 other ex Yugoslav republics! it gets so complicated sometimes! But I really like Serbia, I may move there next year!

I think I could tune the bolts of my truck and it would never improve the acceleration. Changing what must be one of the smoothest (laziest) gearboxs, would probably give the biggest difference.
