The kit I fitted to the Ex's MR2 also had a stuck hi/lo problem.

I did notice that after a year or so the light output seriously diminished.. and at least in her car, they were worse than stock.

eeek thats not good, I have not noticed any reduction in light quality, only the hi/lo issue.
