I'm after a decent torch to keep in the Surf. I don't have any spots, and sometimes it's handy to have a torch rather than spots which always face forward on the truck.
Doing some googling, I've come accross a torch made by a laser company called wickedlasers. They claim 4100 lumens. The only thing brighter than this is 5000 lumens but costs $2000, whilst the wicked lasers cost $300.
I managed to find a forum where there are torch enthusiasts. There is this one modified mag light, that runs about 36v @ 13 amps. There are pictures:
