I've had a squeak behind the instrument cluster for a year! Had it stripped out twice, taped everything up, put foam between cables and bulkhead and it's still there. One of those noises that comes and goes though.

I just turn the mp3 player up now!

i had an alternator bolt come out of a hire land rover, drove to weymouth and back from exeter, then when we got near the office i heard something clang on the floor, so i stopped the rover, got out and saw a bolt which was quite warm to touch, looked in the engine bay and saw where it had come from.

kinda glad it didnt happen on the main road to/from weymouth!
