Caravan aerial question.

Just buy a signal booster.

I considered this myself recently as an easy option for moving the telly across to the other side of the living room but apparently signal boosters at the TV end of things are rubbish. They amplify the noise as well as the signal which isn't too bad on analogue telly but for digital it can actually stop you picking up channels...

(note: sticking a signal booster right next to the aerial is a different story entirely if the TV aerial forums are anything to go by)

Any problems with tha status we replace the status box but i must say thay are usualy good and dont gor wrong often

I got a sat dish from a sky mate, used my sky box and put a scaffold pole with dish attached in the jockey wheel clamp, 5 minutes setup just point it where others do then use the box tunin facility, worked great till some theivin bastad boosted the van this week took box, telly and our lasses GHD's, so I've nowt to watch and the missus hair is a ###### mess. H

As someone who's done a bit with RF, just look at post 2. Forget the gadgets and amplifiers. A Yagi will do you, or perhaps even a Log Periodic if you're a bit flash.
