Hmm not sure of the aim of this one...
I had one before the Patrol, the good one to 3.0TD 5spd manual.
Problem they have is the same as a normal hilux in my opinion (im sure plenty will disagree) they aren't built strong enough to be a "proper 4wd"

One person on there said something reasonable, about comparing apples to apples. I actually like patrols though. Theyre pretty big though right? Like a Landcruiser, like what was said.

I own one of each and love them both the Patrol is bigger and heavier great for towing and the surf is lighter and quicker and you can leave it in 4wd on the road!

i think the thing is we all love the 4x4s that we have if we didn't we would sell them i like both my isuzu and my surf .the surfs fantastic off road and the isuzu s great for towing and m/ways and the seating position is better and its more powerful oh and stronger built and black n swb and black ,why did i get the surf ?
