33" spare tyre dressing

What do you do with your spare tyre?

Currently, mine is just bolted to the rear carrier with three wheel type nuts. ANYONE could use a spanner and get the wheel off in about 1 minute.

I did have a locking nut (from previous owner) but that just pulled off. I didn't have a key anyway.

My elastc wheel cover isnt big enough to fit over the 33" x 12.5". I prefer it on show, but fear of someone stealing it!
Suggestions? I dont mind a cover, but I don't want any humping rhinos :P

The key actually release the small tabs that grip the nut part so when the key is put in it releases the lock tabs so it can be twisted and pulled off.If they ain't used for a while they tend to sieze up and a pain to get off

Mine's on the roof rack but it's only on the ratchet straps so anyone who wants it could most likely just take it on!

I am about to rectify that though

then spenkle with fresh mint and serve
