  • What do you call those plastic widgets ...........

I am looking for some of those little plastic inserts which fit into the 9mm square holes found on the interior panels of Surf bodywork, but I don't know what they are called. These are the ones which have a central hole and you screw a self tapper into it to secure interior trim etc.

I am trying to fit a retracting load cover which I bought s/h off ebay. The inner rear wings have the holes to take the mountings but no plastic inserts. The plastic side panels in the boot of a Surf are marked on their inside surface with the shape of the load cover mountings so cutting shouldn't be a problem.

Anyone know what the little plastic thingies are called so I can do an internet search for a few?
    Thanks,
    Mark

I was just going to say that I don't know what they're called but that I've seen them in Halfrauds...

But Bushwacker's link is much better!

Your local Toyota dealer should be able to supply them. That's where I got mine to fit my load cover.
