roll cage

can it be done to match mi bullbar
i know it will weigh abit more than normal if made to match mi bullbar
it will be a v8 by the time i have a roll cage made
any ideas

just planning things out
i know were to go for top class winch bumpers once ya all sorted mate
its a roll cage i need to know about just so i know were its got to go
and how much its going to be

I think Stein will make them to order but no idea how much. I love the idea in principle but can't justify the price/weight and don't exactly go rock crawling very often

i just dont want to spend all that on my surf to roll it and write it off

If you rolled it with a roll cage, it would still be a write off though?? Difference is you would be safer as the cage will stop the body caving in and crushing you?

I'm sure theres an argument that its more likely to roll if you do have a cage attached due to the extra weight up top?

it could have that efect could'nt it
i dont want to write it off
maybe i may need a off road ready 4x4 that i could drag there
save mine for the smoother stuff
but that would then mean makeing 2 of everything or make em so they can be cliped on to eather 4x4 thats in use
iam going to have to rethink this one for a mo

if i do use my other 4x4 for this i wont mind rolling it for fun
i have done alsorts but not rolled a car yet

its looking like this project may take 2 4x4's for it to work
the dangerus bits of this project needs addressing or this cant be done
well it could but it would take twice has long to do with out the risk taking

Good point! Wonder how much these things weigh afterwards. Had a half cage in a previous car, didn't weigh that much, but a Surf cage is bigger.
Where would it even mount to?

George, I would stock up on diffs rather than spending out of roll cages, especially if you're gonna be giving your truck enough abuse to roll it!

i dont plan on rolling it

i know i will change my mind and do most this in some other 4x4
i have a spare sh1t 4x4 that dont care about
i am not into writeing mi surf off
looking at them pics of what you do bushwhacker
when your ready to grace my surf with your presence
theres no way i would treat it like i did before
some things are too good to go out and kill
the time you put in to what you do and the effort
i aint going to fek that up dude grass trails at the most mate
so iam going to put most mi project things on to the die hat sue

i'll use the surf for the camaras and a nice fat sound system
