been offered a ford ranger wildtrak on an 06 plate 130k on clock

not looking to replace 4 runner more likely for the misses to get down the track to her horse (she is killing the 206 cabriolet!)

anyroad up (leics saying) be interested if anyone got an opinion or has owned one of these?

had an ford explorer once....don't want to go there again thats for sure

Hi mate, from my experiance of them, they are good motors, just make sure it has full service history, there are a lot of them out here, and all the people i know who have them, which is quite a few, praise them up as reliable and good motors. But as with all motors, its how well they have been looked after and serviced. Good luck.

yes it has full main dealer service history so thats and know the guy that had it and no issues so seems a good deal

My son n law bought one a few months back, seems very pleased with it, he did some reserch into the ranger before buying and it had some good reports, i've driven it many a time and apart from it being manual (i like me autos) its a good drive,

been out in it and can honestly say that the 4 runner feels a better more positive drive, both are manual and the ranger has leather air con etc and 12 years younger. Apart from the aesthetics of a bit of rust starting to show on the runner's wings I genuinely would prefer the 4 runner given the choice??

what is it about these surfs that seem to grab you and won't let go?

I got a nice 2.4 in the surfs for sale section for £1200.replacement head,engine injectors etc 2 years ago and all work done by Stevo and i got reciepts,and was a forum members truck and well looked after.
It's being mot'd on Friday and having the cv boots done at the same time.

we ran rangers in the fire service down here.....not a surf for sure but not bad with little trouble
