Sorry to hijack Jud but Vince how do the sidelights come off a 3rd gen.I can see a screw at the top but i can't see anything underneath.I need to change a sidelight bulb for the mot tomorrow

Open the bonnet and you'll see one screw on top of the headlight.
Remove this screw and then you'll need to prise the light away from the wing and at the same time pull it forwards off the headlight.
There's two locating pins that go into plastic retainers in the same place as the fixing screws on the 2nd gen, and two other hook type fixings on the headlight itself.

All I need left in the truck is the transfer case and it's wiring loom.

If you can remove/sell the 2.4 and transmission before you bring the truck to me then that would save some time and space.
I already have three auto 'boxes and a 2.4 lump here at the moment!

George if you can get the truck to me then i am happy to strip the engine etc out ready for the truck to go to Vince.The only thing we'll need to do is sort out how to get the truck to Vince when its ready

No worries George.I'll do anything to help anyone out.Hopefully i will get rid of the 2 trucks in the unit next week so there will be room in there then.Other than that i can keep it in my little compound down there for my own vehicles and trailer.As long as it drives so i can move it then bring it down when ever you want and it can be stored safely here till ready to go up to Vince

or do you want that done before you get it?
also them front bottom arms aint too good front bearings need sorting too
