Yes, but a LS400 would be cheaper.

i was looking at buying one before i got the surf
i looked at one of these but it was 4.2 v8 import i think it was very nice but i got the surf instead

LS400 is better because the sump clears the steering rod and front diff. in the Surf.
It's up to you if you want to get a new rad, but Stormforce sells good condition rads.

They're all 4.0 up until about 2001 then change to 4.3.
From 1995 on they're vvti and a pain to get running right after transplanting because of built in security in the start circuits.

You'll need a Lexus from 1990 to 1994 and under 170,000 miles preferably.
Toyota Celsior is the same car just an import version, so the speedo will be in kms.

any other bits bobs t1ts n nobs needed just say and i will get em
if we say april time then that gives me time to get the loot togeather
and bits
and hopefully give you plenty of time to sort ya own stuff out
i like to plan way ahead dude

i have been reading it theres like 350 quid of bits
a good ls400 first gen
a 2'' lift a few bits need doing to mi surf anyway and i allways leave a bounus its the way iam made
but i asked bushwacker coz he is old school and turns out an old school job
its far better than any other idea i have had with the surf
his works got his heart in to it
and it shows
i feel honored that he has said yes

i have double checked with the guy thats having my collection just to make sure i'll have plenty of loot

and bushwhacker do you need use any of those parts that come off my surf

coz
rad is new all hoses are new the turbo is new and hoses for that is new too
gearbox was reconed 3000 mile ago
engine has had no problems at all
altinator was reconed and made water proof not too long ago
all parts are toyota parts
do you need or use em bushwhacker?
i just need to know so i can plan to leave em you or swap em stormy for some bits
stormys get the first shout on all parts if bushwhacker dont want em

Sorry to hijack Jud but Vince how do the sidelights come off a 3rd gen.I can see a screw at the top but i can't see anything underneath.I need to change a sidelight bulb for the mot tomorrow

All I need left in the truck is the transfer case and it's wiring loom.

If you can remove/sell the 2.4 and transmission before you bring the truck to me then that would save some time and space.
I already have three auto 'boxes and a 2.4 lump here at the moment!
