N Reg is it 2nd or 3rd gen?

going to look a surf tomorrow, its 3.0 n reg. is it possible to get a 2nd gen on a n plate? or will it be a 3rd gen.

It's possible, Andrew, but unlikely. You could get one of the council ones; a 3rd gen with 2nd gen running gear.

It is possible as that was the change over year/reg.

If it has a lift up tailgate then it's a 3rd gen.

LOL, I've got a "council" one, although it's definitely a later model (97-98). Just make sure it's got a centre diff ie Multimode transmission. Mine only has the H, N or L4 options on the trans selector lever, and this lever is on the nearside (left) of the main gear shift.

Let the campness begin. Its very clean and got loads of history. 2 owners and 176,000km and belt done at 144,000km.

ps stormforce or any other breakers im looking for a 3rd gen passenger wing, passenger side headlight, passenger side indicator(bumper one) and a kzn-185 turbo.
