  • My 2" rear lift is not enough :(

Had the Roughtrax +2" springs fitted, but all its done is level out the rear to where it should be. I haven't wound up the front as its not necessary.
So, how can I get a bit more on the rear? Thinking coil spacers.... can I buy these off the shelf and from where?
Any other (cheap) options as I've just paid for a new head....

you sure your shocks are not topping out. mine got quite a lift with just the springs but the std shocks were nearly topping out, if the engine hadn't gone longer shocks were next on my list
Surf.gone but not forgottendisco now gone aswell

Pretty sure not, as we gave it a good bounce and it went up aswell as down, and am seeing about 1.5" of new (read clean) shock absorber. I thought I'd see more as the HD should have put them at the original (level) height and the plus 2 to well, up it!

This firm http://www.outrageousoffroad.co.uk/ supply 2" coil spacers. Their online prices aren't up to date, so it's best to give them a call.
              Gone from 4x4 to 1x2

Have you measured the distance from the centre of the hub to the wheel arch?
I used the roughtrax springs and shocks and it took it from 19" to 26" . 3" of that was the bodylift, so the srpings got rid of 2" of sag and gave me another 2"

                Regards

I have coil spacers at home if you're interested.

Are you sure they are +2" height and not +20% stiffness?
I got 4" when I fitted mine (the same as TFB).

Maybe you were sent the wrong ones?
I've got a plan and it's as hot as my pants!

I thought this aswell, but the box, order confirmation and website all quote SU005 as the product which is plus 2" Heavy Duty...

This was my next train of thought, the gap NOW is 22" all round(front and back) from hub centre to top of wheel arch - didn't take measurement before so can't tell you the difference.
Can anyone with a STANDARD surf measure the front and back and post the measurement please? Another line of thought we've had is that the front has already been lifted, as I have not altered it....

                            LOL!

Its only because my other car's forum virtually bans JFGI responses in the interest of keeping the forum alive and busy.

Plus as a little cockney fat bloke once said, "Its good to talk"
