3rd gen lift

Hi all,
A few pointers if doing a lift on a gen 3. You will need to have a spacer for the steering column as there is not enough adjustment on the column. 8 body spacers are required. Standard bolts are m8, 6x 100mm & 2x 120mm you will need to add whatever the dimension of your lift is. Just need to lift bumper and bars now looks a lot better !, need to decide which suspension now ? 2" or not

Also depends which year your 3rd gen was built as some early ones have less body mounts then later ones .

Do you when and what was the change ?

96 3rd gen surfs were the only one to come out of the factory with 8 mounts instead of 10.
