Cheers for the links vince. I stopped the 'mechanic' trying to weld up a bit of cast prop joint...
ordered up all three props and and a diff yoke and putting it on tommorow. It's marked (thankfully) so it goes on 'balanced'...precision never was an American engineering term. I'm doing this one, as I have a trip to Sunderland next week and I'd like to get back under my own steam, notbehind a Mick Gould recovery wagon(although he does have a nice kenworth that gets you home quick).

Gearbox is a little different. It's got about 3 kickdown positions. If you plant it, it stays in each gear up to about 5000rpm. It always starts in 1st...it's a shed but any 6.0 litre v8 is going to be a quick shed.
