now i just need to find something to fit to the turbo. that aussie one is wayyyyyyyyy to pricey!

Let me know how you get on. I'm interested in something like that, as long as it's not too expensive.
If you are going this route it would be worth fitting some kind of boost gauge to monitor what the turbo is doing. If you increase the boost you should monitor exhaust gas temperature as it leaves the turbo (from what I have read) to ensure they stay within limits.

Apparently the turbo pipe is very restrictive. I'm trying to have one made in England, or worst case I'm thinking about one of these from Aus - http://www.eng-tek.com.au/product_in...roducts_id=222

But I really dont want to pay that cost.
Whilst I googled for that website, it lead me back here where someone else was researching a similar thing. I remember shadowing a colleague when I was being trained in Longlife - a customer had a 3" exhaust made and had been in extensive talks with the head office. Wonder if it was this guy:

I bought a 3 inch pipe for sale on eBay with the right angle bend, cut it down to size, cut the connector thingy from the old dump pipe that fits onto the turbo and welded it all together :-) A cowboy job really but it passed the mot!

all the badges shout toyota it looks like he's dressed up the cressida to look like a bmw m series but then again i could be wrong but from what i remember the bmw didn't have the vented trims on the back doors and it didn't have the fluting down the sides

zorst arrived fine sorted the rattle in the middle box so alls good i've just got to get one of the lads to fit it now probably tomorrow (hopefully) i'll let you know how we get on

longlife quoted me £255 from the turbo back on my 2.4.
havent booked it in yet. should i expect them to rethink the quote?
