Well, lunch time today we decided after a few hours of work to meet with family and have a birthday meal at a good local pub.
Weather was great, food was great and we all had a good time.
We then decided to go home and take the dog out for a nice walk in the sun.
As well as taking the dog, we thought it would be a good idea to take the quad bike out at the same time and who ever is the most shattered, can get a lift back.
So off we all head with dog running wild enjoying him self.
After an hour or so we reach the river where I show everyone just where my little quad will go!
Not to be out done, I decided at the end to ride in the water line to wash the bike off before coming home again.
This is where I sank about two foot into the river bed and quite quick at that!
All laughing we decide that two members of the family can walk a mile home to get their vitara and give me a pull out.
This was a great idea. ABout an hour passed and they returned with the truck.
However, it sank as well!
Only one thing left now. Walk another mile, get keys for van, drive a mile and get surf, return and tow out vitara, then tow out quad, clean off and go home.
Four hours later - Job done hehehehehehehhee
The sun is still shining here. We are off into the hot tub now to relax after all the hard work.
