When I was using a 50/50 veg diesel mix my fuel pump started leaking BIG time... I switched back over to straight diesel & this has all but cured the problem... I've just got the pump seals kit in from Milners so that I can sort the pump seals & go back 2 using a bit of veg again!! After doing my homework I've read that two seals can be done with the pump in-situ by taking the top cover off & that this cures quite a few leaks... Just wondered what u guys on the forum think- should I take the time out to remove the pump & do all the seals in one go or is it worth trying just the two top seals first?? I'm inclined to take time out & just get the pump out & sort the seals in one go, but for the sake of time & hassle I think it might be worth changing the two top seals first & seeing how that works when I start using veg again.... Just wondering about the experiences of other guys on this forum & how successful they've been at stopping fuel pump leaks by just taking the top cover off & doing the top pump seals?? Opinions folks?...
