Tell me about liftin'

I'm a newbie Surf owner (2nd gen).

I'm interested in putting another 2" or so between my tyres and the car body.

What do I need to do this?

Presumably it's new longer springs or a spacer of some kind?

What do I need to make it a DIY job?

We have a new Hiab We can lift your Surf ! not sure where our driver would put it though

It does work, trust me, I found out something that I wasnt sure on using the search button.

Think the Hiab may lift it slightly more than 2"!!

You need to chose whether you want a body or suspension lift first, I did both last week so should have most of the info you need.

From my experience of Brighton & Bournemouth (Canford cliffs area I think!) there is a fair bit of shirt lifting going on. Lots of blokes with strange moustaches and bicycles at all hours of the night...!

these blokes with moustaches didnt happen to have blue and white stripy tops, black berets and a strange accent did they........
