Andy I have a 16" puller fan to fit to my Jimny as I want to do away with the viscous fan.

I want it on a on/off warning light switch for wading. Not on a thermostat.

Do I need an in line fuse if so what size. Is it live to the switch then fuse on way to fan?

Take the plastic wrap off of that fire extinguisher you got.

Fuse as close to the power source as possible, so Source-Fuse-Switch-Fan.

            Depends on the motor!

At a guess, probably about 15 Amps, but try a 10 Amp first.

Next week he will need help, I think the cable tied viscous fan will do for the weekend.

I gave him switches, switch mounts, proper plug connectors, blade fuse box (waterproof) and other bits and pieces....plus the 16" fan I bought for my Lexsurf.
