Not a bad price at all, they've got some other good bits and pieces there too, good find.

That is a bargin, same size as the one my son bought, he got the hard plastic "soft ground" foot plate, sock (that was about£25,) whole deal come to over a ton, he's spent the time since he got it trying to quiet the rattles it makes, bit of foam here and there,

I have a high lift jack here if anyone wants to make an offer on it.It was used just the once which a few of you will remember when i posted a pic of the old 2nd gen with one of the 39" tyres fitted a while back.It has been sat in the garage ever since and will never be used.

Finding somewhere to jack on a surf is the problem as far as i can see, land rovers seem more suited to these jacks, we used one on simons mates 90 to pop the rear spring back in, surf body's too "rounded" to use em on the side unless you have a good set of sliders fitted, tow bar if you want to chance it, you can apparantly use these jacks to pull yourself out the $hit too,

That's why a lot of manufacturers don't make them anymore, they aren't safe.

Hi lifts are the nuts when used properly. I have used mine to get me out of deep ruts and to change half shafts off road.
You do need to be awake though or they will kill you.
If you strap them on the outside keep it well greased.

I think he's inferring that if you drop it on your bonce it's the end of times for you, either that or it'll dent your doors if you jack it too close to em,
they are very usefull tools, used properly, i was more concerned with getting my fingers trapped in the bl00dy thing when we used it
