Stripped the truck ready for the expected delivery tomorrow of new discs and pads, and what a PITA job!
Pad pins were siezed in solid and I had to cut them out and tap out the stubs with a punch. Sheared off one caliper retaining bolt,no idea where I'll get another.
So that's going to leave my wheels up on axel stands most of this week.
So,thought whilst I've got some time I may as well paint up the suspension parts and the calipers. Have I picked up on a vibe of some sort of private joke on caliper colour? What colour does every thinks looks best?
Never had this problem when I done the discs and pads on my Range Rover!
Oh did I mention I had a green oval as well?? Is that like swearing on this forum? Better baton down the hatches
Regards
Mark
