  • Stage 2

Well the first stage is out of the way,
3" body lift fitted thanks to Stormy for the parts.
May the Beast rest in peace, had to drop off the gearbox linkage,Fuel filler pipe, rad pipes and undo the brackets for the power steering pipes and take off the turbo air inlet pipe and then remove the bottom section of the radiator fan housing to allow for the body lift.then the steering column was unbolted at three points 2 in the engine bay and one under the dash I opened up all the joints with a large screwdriver and prised it all apart unbolted it at the steering pump and removed it. I took a section to work and cut it and welded a 2" section into it and repainted it.
looks good as new i will re-assemble it when i have finished the rest of the lift
once all the spacers were fitted in place on the passenger side, I did the driver's side once all was done it was time to re-connect it all gearbox linkage was done with a new bracket made up by ????? and the turbo inlet pipe was gotten from Pirtek the radiator pipe was puchased slightly longer than normal for the top hose to fit removed the bottom of the fan housing to allow for the radiator going up
All of the front is done Ball joint spacers 2" fitted and the 1" diff drop brackets fitted also changed the drivers side hub assembly and fitted Free wheeling Hubs.
    Before!

    After

and now I have to start on the rear end before i can set it all up
