  • LC springs on a 3rd gen

    Hi guys,

since the 3rd gen is allegedly based on the LC (colorado??) for chassis, running gear etc..... Can you put LC springs on directly, or is it best to just go for the 20% uprated Roughtrax springs?

also.. anyone know if you can get longer shocks (from an LC or whatever) that still have the hard/soft capability?

    Thanks in advance

Thats it, you're already running the Colorado setup.

I just saved you a heap of money....

Its not the same as a 2nd gen, the LC springs they're on about are from an 80 series I think.

I got +2" kit from Rtrax, no soft/hard option, its good though

yep, im going to go the RT 20% route with longer shocks. I can live without hard/soft option.

im in process of lifting my LC colorado with Old Man Emu suspension
        http://www.offroad24.co.uk/contents/en-uk/d958.html

they offer a 40mm suspension lift, with longer coils and shocks

but the surf/4runner option on their site appears to be a 2nd gen, as it shows torsion bars etc
