  • shocking!

Anyone else get a static shock when touching the door after exiting their trucks?

I get one every time after driving the 3rd gen, doesn't happen with Lexurf.

    just wondering like.

I had a spate of getting shock off it, dont seem to do it now, probably the propshaft dragging on the deck earthing it, bl00dy hurts dosen't it! i think a lot depends on what your wearing, nylon seems to generate static (and no wise cracks)

on the curlers , straighteners, rollers and dryer etc as these are known to play havoc with the static!

I seem to get static shocks from a lot of things, except the surf, that seems to be the one place I don't get them.

I get them off mine, a right pain in the a**, I only noticed it once I put seat covers in the front unfortunately the seats are too manky not to have them on so I guess i'll just have to put up with it.

Will be the sort of fibres used in the seats / carpets is good at generating static. Always get your passenger to get out first
