  • Surf Batteries Needed!!!

Could someone please tell me what batteries I need for my Surf?

    Its a 1994 L reg 3.0 D Surf import

    So many battery types

It has a winter pack so I need 2 batteries, would be handy if they were cheap

Got mine from a local motor factors. Battery part numbers were 068 and 069, they're handed so can't remember which was which!

Try your local Toyota dealer as well as, they are often cheaper than a motor factors, no idea why.

Local motor factors guy did good for me... think I paid £88.00 for both. Bring your Surf along to let them seem old batteries.

Found these on Ebay. Don't know how they compare price wise to motor factors / dealers, but it's free delivery.

I got a pair of halfords own branded batteries (HB065) four years ago - still going strong and no probs starting during the cold start of the year.
Quite cheap - tho' can't remember price.
These batterries are not handed but thers plenty of slack in the cables to turn one round.

EDIT - just looked on halford website - £79.99 each with 3 year guarantee.

The 2 batteries came today. £120 for the pair delivered, the difference is like night and day. Now starts first time with minimal turnover
