the battle of brunanburh 937 AD

any one know anything about it any local storys?
i dont know how much you may know about the battle of brunanburh
its got a few names and different spellings and dates
but the place names mainly begain with the letter B
no one knows were the battle location is for sure
theres around 10 different places that it may have happend
the best known are
northumberland
newton le willows
merseyside
devon
soulthwest scottland
lancashire
soulth yorkshire
all have there own sites of the battle


this is the biggest historic battle of britain we were all in this battle
irish scotts welsh and the english (and yorkshire men)
but no one seems to know about this battle its more important than the 1066 battle of hastings
937 battle should have a bigger stance than 1066 but its not


i live near one of the many sites of this battle
and i have been to some others too
i was wondering if any one else knows anything about it
we have one story - folk law that says
a large stone makes the mass grave of the fallen warriers of the great battle

any history boffs out there?

i have a metaldetector already been into that a few years
i have read everything on the internet about this battle

i was more intrested in local folklaw about the battle
i think it was in wirral mersyside mi sen but it could be anywere
it say that brinesford was near to the battle that is todays brinsworth
just down the road from me
