I've always wanted a black one of those, just for sunny week-ends.
The engine bay has too much bling on that one though, and I could definitely tidy it up better than that.
They're not the original alloys either, they make the whole car look a bit 'Essex girl'.
40k is a bit optimistic, but I guess he needs fuel money for the Hummer.
It's running 2bar of boost. Knowing nothing about RS500s is that a standard?
Nice car. I've only ever seen one black one in real life.
The thing about this type of car is that driving it , adding miles to the clock impacts the value. To me, these show cars are to be kept garaged and taken to shows and to let their owners cherish them.
Not sure what the point of buying a car and then never driving it incase it de-values is. Unless you own a museum.
Exactly why I wouldn't buy a car like that for that sort of money. You could build one to the same spec for a fraction of the cost, and it would still drive and feel the same. There would be the same amount of enjoyment if done propperly and not some half hearted unplanned attempt.
End of the day, it's just a modified one of these: http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?im...26tbs%3Disch:1
No it isn't, the XR4i has a unique bodyshell.
I had one for four years.
I agree with Vince there.. the Cosworth has a completely different shell and its blasphemous to even say that they are similar.... !!! Please don't do it again.
Oh and PS I prefer the White to the Black but either would be a joy to own....
I apologise, Three door Sierra, then. I know people love their Fords. I do too. But I think it is silly to put that type of price on something when essentially you could build out the same car for way less.
