thats kinda the reason i had it resprayed
tried heat gun and then caramel wheel.
Apart from making a dogs dinner out of it, it became evident that it had been sprayed in the past and had been masked around the stickers. Therefore when the stickers were off the colours top/ bottom and the bit under sticker were all at different levels, lacquers, etc.
Didnt make sense to spray over dints, etc, so both sides were completely redone, dints filled, made good and then sprayed to include the grey bottom half as well.

I'm in two minds about the rear lights though, I think they look great but the PITA is the red bulbs, after a few weeks (I'm assuming due to the heat) they start to turn orange, have gone through two lots so far. Not so noticable during the day but really noticable at night after a while.
Am thinking since I have two sets of rear lights I could do some cutting, filing, glueing, pasting, swearing, bleeding and anything else that's needed to convert them to take the 380/382 type bulbs (could have LED's then ).

I've had them on for a few months now. Will have a look tonight to see if mine are "oranging".
I've also considered modifying them with LEDS.
My new fog light, which isn't mounted yet, is an LED light.
