Oil grades? 10/40,5/40,15/40

Hi guys!! Just wondering what oil grades most of u guys are using in ure Surfs?.. I have a2.4 Surf gen 2 & had been using a 10/40 semi on oil changes but on the last oil/filter change I opted for a 5/40 fully synthetic, as I get a bit of discount at my Euro carparts anyway!! BUT, when in there 2day I noticed they had a 15/40 SEMI... I've got a couple of little drips under my truck & was thinking that changing over to a more viscuous oil like 15/40 might help cure the problem & as it's a half- decent Semi Synthetic oil it won't do the engine any harm either??? What do u guys all reckon?... Just a thought!

Ps... I was just wondering cos 5/40 fully is pucker quality oil, but probably doesn't help any little drips cos it has the consistency of water!! Lol!..

i use 15/40 made for diesel engines i for get the name

15W/40 Comma Eurodiesel (semi-synthetic) for me. Changed from 10w/40 to it on my pickup and it did reduce oil use/leaking so it now goes in my 4runner too.
